I can't figure out what is wrong when it only runs bad once in a while. It will stall out and run so bad that it will not run unless I keep my foot on the gas pedal. It will clean itself up and run fine after a minute or two. Now its starting to miss when I drive it down the road at 55 too. Can you give me a place to start?

Has the check engine light come on? When was the last tune up? Have you checked for vacuum leaks? Have you checked fuel pump pressure? Also, make sure the catylatic converter isn't starting to plug.

Let me know what you find.

No check engine light and no vacuum leaks that I can find. I havent checked fuel pump pressure yet. I didn't think of a catylatic converter. This will give me somewhere to start.
