My fuel gauge jumps around from empty to full, when it jumps to empty you get the warning sound for low fuel even when the tank is full.

IS there a way to turn off, disconnect or stop the low fuel warning sound?

Wouldn't it make more sense to fix the problem? Drop the tank, remove the pump assembly, pop the float arm off, bend the sliding contact so it has more pressure, snap the arm back on, and reinstall the assembly into the tank.

No parts needed. Takes less than an hour.
