1998 Dodge Dakota 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

i get code p1762 on my scanner ( governor pressure sensor ) yet, detect no problem while driving the truck. gov. press. sensor was replaced 7 months ago along with a gov. transducer and input sensor. is this tranny getting ready to go south? truck has 173,000 miles. dennis

I don't think it is ready to go. The code means the Governor Pressure Sensor input was too high or too low for 3 consecutive park/neutral calibrations. That can happen due to a bad part. You had the governor replaced. I would have them check it again for a faulty part.
