1998 Dodge Dakota Heater is leaking antifreeze

The local Dodge dealership quoted me $786.00 to replace the heater core. A heater core is only $40.00.
I was wondering how big of a project it is to replace it myself.

every thing between u(or the seats )and the windshield have to be removed

easy 8 hr job
its a lot of work
