When running my dakota and needing to use the heat if I have the heat cranked all the way hot I barely get any warm (at best) air. My engine thermostat also says that my truck is running around 160 degrees. What would be the best solution for these issues

The engine should be running around 195 degrees. Replace the thermostat and it should take car of the problem.

Let me know if you have questions.
