THe truck has been doing this for the last 6,000mi it has good oil pressure but has a anooying tick or click at idle and wile driving. an when its really cold it wont do it till it warms up?

Is the engine oil clean and full? Is it holding good oil pressure? Does the sound seem to come from the top or the bottom of the engine?
