1997 Dodge Dakota 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

There is a u-joint in the steering just before the steering gearbox. What is this part called? And how do I replace it?

Called intermediate shaft, remove the pinch bolts at both ends, collapse the shaft and remove.
