I have recently noticed that my Dakota will not idle after start-up. It will start and immediately die unless I give it some gas. If I keep my foot barely on the accelerator and shift it into drive and can get it moving for a fair distance it will run. Otherwise the RPMs drop and it cuts off. No problem lights are illuminated. Can you help me out? Thanks

If it runs ok, off idle, but won't idle, I always think of the idle air system, might be a clogged passage or something?

You might see if there are any codes, some of the national brand autostores will check codes for free.
