Sometimes when you start it, it will not idle and keeps dying, however not all the time. After you depress gas and keep revved for a while it will maintain idle. Any suggestions?

Hi:
It sounds like a possible problem with the idle air control valve (IAC) or the throttle position sensor (TPS). Without scanning the computer, that is only an educated guess. Take it to a nationally recognized parts store and have them scan the computer for trouble codes. Most stores will do it for free.

Let me know what you find.

Joe
