Whu would my compressor be cycleing on and off when I run the heater

Hello,

On a lot of newer vehicle 96 and up the a/c compressor cycles with heater on.

Have you had any problem with your A/C?

How often does it cycle?

If it cycles frequently then you may not have noticed it before and you may be low on freon.

If I am not mistaken, with a full charge on A/C and heat on the A/C usually cycles about every 10 - 15 minutes or so.
