Bump when letting off of gas

Just wondering if you might know why I feel a light bang when I let off of the gas pedal. Seems to be coming from the rear of the truck but not sure.

Check to make sure the shackles are good and u-joints are tight and not damaged. Also, if that is good, check transmission and engine mounts.

Let me know what you find.

It is the slip joint at the front of the rear drive shaft that slides into the rear of the transfer case. When you brake, the body tips forward and the rear drive shaft pulls out of the transfer case slightly. When it pulls out it binds just for an instant. Coat the inside splines with never-seize. You will be pleased with the result.
