1995 Dodge Dakota no compression after timing chain replace

my trucks timing belt broke when I was driving up a hill. the was sitting about a month and a half before I could get the parts. I installed them yesterday and I tried to start it when I got done and there is no compression. any ideas? I was told the that motor is a non-interferance motor. timing marks (top gear) is at 6:00 and the (bottom gear) is at 12:00.

Sounds like the valve timing is way too off-Did you put the engine no.1 piston on its compression stroke/TDC then line the cam and crank before you put the belt as indicated in the repair manual

is the 3.9 liter motor in this truck a non- interferance motor?
can you tell me where #1 plug is on the motor(looking at the motor from the front)?
there should the dimples on the timing gears be?
