Today as I was driving on the highway, my oil pressure ran high, I lost power and my engine vibrated to the point that It felt like I was driving on a rough road. I checked the oil, it was low so I added oil and the problem continued. When Im at a stop light and the engine idles the oil pressure is fine, but when I accelerate the oil pressure rises. The engine was not overheated, and I'm stumped?

Hi there,

Oil pressure will increase with engine speed, but in this case we need to get a reading with a mechanical gauge so we know the exact pressure, start here.
