1995 Dodge Dakota V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

What is the difference between an engine oil pressure switch and an oil pressure sender? I'm having trouble finding accurate application info on this topic.

They are the same thing. The purpose is to indicate the oil pressure in the engine and send it to the gauge or light in the vehicle.
