1994 Dodge Dakota winshield wipers??

Hi, im have trouble with my 94 Dakota`s windshield wipers. when i turn them on the motor runs but they dont move at all. No matter what the speed. can yall give me some ideas as of wht the problem is?

check the end of the wiper arms where they attach to the gear, they may be slipping. if so just tighten up the nut holding arm on to gear.
