Transmission problem
1993 Dodge Dakota 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic ? miles
----------------------------------------------------------------
Ok, when I got the the truck the speed odometer started jumping. Then the odometer quit working .Now the transmission won't work right most of the time , it will do first and 2nd. but no further. I could cut it off and back on then it would work for a while. That know longer works. We tried to get a read on the machine, but it doesn't pick up anything. Other than driving on the freeway it has always driven just fine, but if you push it and go to hard on it when you slow down it will cut off every time usually in the middle of a turn ( always fun to loose your power steering!)
keeping it in town till we figgure it out.
Please shed some light on this problem if you would. Having a hard time getting to Home Depot, its down the by-pass
