My door/ignition will not go off and is draining my battery. This is a light under my dash/glovebox and a green glowing ring around the ignition(keyhole). these lights should go off soon after the door is closed but they do not ever go off.

with the vehicle running and door open, does door ajar light come on and go off when door is shut? does ajar light stay on? or never turn on?
