1992 Dodge Dakota blower fan motor

How do you test fan blower motor for heat and air to see if its burned out or can be repaired.

Just take 12v direct power (hot wire and ground from a 12v source i.E. Car battery) and supply it to the blower motor. If this doesn't make motor come on then it needs replaced. If it does come on this way then check fuses, relays and blower resistor pack.
