My truck will crank up and run for a few minutes but then go dead. It will not crank back up until the next day or so. Also the alernator wont charge, but had it tested and it is still good! What could be my problem?

WHen the engine doesn't start, are you still getting spark and fuel to the engine?

Also, I hate to say it, but if the alt is good and not charging, chances are the computer is bad. In the old days, chrysler had a voltage regulator mounted on the firewall. In the early 90's, the computer replaced that and regulated the voltage from the alt.

Let me know what you find with the no start.

Sorry about the bad news.

Joe
