I have an 1989 Dodge Dakota, with 130,649 miles. I recently purchased the truck, and the heater doesnt get hot, therefore, when the windshield becomes iced over, I can't melt it away due to lack of heat coming from the vents. My question is should I replace the thermostat and the heater core, or what do you think needs to be replaced? Also, how much do you think that a heater core would cost to replace?
