1988 Dodge Dakota 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

i have a 1988 dodge dakota i just bought and the radio wont work, the clock is on, but the radio wont turn on... any suggestions? the fuses are good i think...

Check fuse No.9 10amp that powers the radio at On/Accy position if okay could be the red and white wire is open and also look for a fuse behind the unit.

hey i asked the question about the radio, the fuses are all good, i took i out of the dash, and on the back of the stereo, there is two plugs, ( i call them pigtails) a gray one and black one. the gray one was plugged in but the black is missing... like i took the whole dash apart and its not there... now im back where i started... any suggestions?.
