I just bought this for aa hunting truck, had it two days, I was parked idling, began to back up and it died and wouldn't start. I tow it home and it starts and then dies right away. When I turn the key on I can't hear the fuel pump turn on, and I can't find a pressure release valve on the fuel line to check the pressure.
How do I know if it is the fuel pump for sure and not something else?

This set up doesn't have the schrader valve like multi-port injection. You need to check it in line (usually right before the fuel filter on the frame rail.

Also, has the check engine light come on?
