why does my car start and run until i put it in to gear,then it stalls

Hi:
Has the check engine light come on? Also, have you checked for vacuum leaks? Finally, can you keep the engine running if you keep your foot on the gas? Have you checked fuel pump pressure?

When a car stalls whien put in gear... it's running lean. We need to add more fuel. A fualty MAP sensor is one of the things that can cause this. The only way to be sure is to have it put on a diagnostic computer.
