There are many ways. The most often and quick way is to pull its connector off while the engine is running to see how much difference it makes to the engine while idleing. Another is to use an ohmmeter to check its resistance to known specs. Or to another good one. Also you can use a scanner to see if it is responding to its orders from the spark and fuel control computer. You can check its voltage and ground with the proper test light. Or change it and hope for the best. They can be visibly inspected and also you can attach them up and watch them spray on the car or on the bench. It is all according to the time, money, and tools and specs. Available to you. If you think they are all not right, add a bottle of special injector cleaner. Remember each cylinder must have a good spark, good fuel, good compression and all at the right time for maximum volumetric efficiency and on a Colt it makes a big difference. OK
