1973 Dodge Charger rebuilt transmission car doesnt move

1973 Dodge Charger V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

Hi there we just put a rebuilt 904 transmission in my 1973 doge coronet that has 318 motor.
We finished the installation fill it up with the oil and guess what the car didnt move we checked the linkage,throttle rod every thing looks good infact I pulled out the trans again to make sure if converter is sitting in right and then put the back together still no luck
the only thing I noticed when we put it reverse the Rpm goes a little bit down very minor and thats about it .drive 1,2 wont do any thing. :( please help

Hi there,

remove the cooler lines and make a temp line from clear horse long enough to loop back so when you start the engine you will see if you have any line pressure, also make sure you have plenty of fluid in the trans, Did you prime the converter with any oil? Check for pump pressure first.
