Dash lights don't work, all other lights and electrical work fine

Check to see if you are getting power to the dash lights from the head light on/off switch and see too if the dash light dimmer switch is functioning correctly. If all else is working fine and I assume you checked the fuses, you should find your problem and have some lights real soon. I would suspect the light on/off switch myself.

Did you get this fixed yet? My '72 had the sliding contact weld itself to the coiled wire in the dimmer rheostat. When I tried to adjust it, the contact finger bent and it pulled part of the coil out. I pulled the coil out to make room to bend the contact back to its proper position, then embedded the coil in epoxy to reset it. The dash lights work fine now, but be warned, the epoxy stunk for a couple of months whenever the lights were turned on.
