Hi
2002 grand caravan 3.3 6 cyl 100k miles white.

There is a leak in the heater line that runs from the firewall to the rear. Leak is in first section of Aluminum pipe, that is from fire wall rearward to first section of rubber hose. Can I just cut and replace with rubber hose and clamps? Is there a repair kit available? Do I need to replace the entire al hose?

TIA

You can repair it with a piece of rubber hose as long as it is not near any heat sorce exaust, etc make the hose a little longer than you need so it will slide further on the pipe for a better seal. I don't knpw of a repair kit unless you want to put a new line in.
The hose should take care of the leak.

Thanks Mike R-102. That's a whole lot cheaper fix then the $350 quote I got and I can do it myself. BTW, I have leukemia, so I can really put the money to much better use. :D

Thats why we are here to help, just check the hose for a day after you get it on for leaks. If you see a little leak just tighten up the clamps a little.
