I have a 1992 dodgecaravan with 214.000 miles. The van was sitting in the driveway and would start when giving the battery a jump. After a few days the van would not start. I pored gas in the carb and the van would run for a few minuites after that it would stop running could it be the fuel pump or is there a fuse or a relay for the fuel pump.

Yes there is a fuse and a relay for the fuel pump. It should be under the hood in the engine compartment or inside on drivers side. To see if the fuelpump is even running have a person turn the key into the on position while you keep your ear close to the rear of vehicle and listen for the pump to run. When you first turn the key on the pump will only run for about 2 seconds. So do it a couple of times to make sure that the pump is really running and you didn't hear it. Once the engine is running the pump runs all the time. If the pump is running I would try changing the fuel filter. I would unhook the battery for about 30 seconds and reset the computer you might of made it go into a cutoff mode by jump starting it. I hope this helps you?
