I have a dodge caravan 1995 4 cylinder 113,000

i hear water passing thru behind dash board, like gurgling sounds, specially if I am pushing down on gas pedal to go faster.

my heater dosnt work to well, hardly gets hot air at all. Just blows cool air.

check engine light comes on if I leave car ideling to long. But if I turn car off and re-start it goes off and stays off.

somedays it seems I have to ad radiator fluid to radiator, other days dont have to. Usually only after a long ride do I have to add fluid.

engine runs fine so far.

could it be my radiator is busted? Or need thermoustat? Or is fluid leaking into the engine cause of bad head? Which by the way twice I have had to have overhaul on top head that was only two years ago. Im hopeing it isnt that again.

This one needs a bit of work! The answers, not the van!
First, lets try to get your codes. Put the key in the ignition, turn to "on" then "off" 5 times, then leave it on, your check engine light will now start to flash the stored codes! They will go from the lowest to the highest, the way to read em is all codes a 2 digit, so if you have a code 23, it will flash 2 times then pause then 3 times. Then it will flash the next code. This will recur untill all codes are read. The last code will be 55. When you see 55 you have them all, so grab a pen and a pad and get those codes!
Now when was the last anti-freeze complete flush? I would drain the radiator, change the thermostat, add flush agent and water, run for the recommended time, let it cool and drain! Refill with 50% water anti-freeze and see how you are doing, then post those codes you got!
