I have a 2002 Dodge Grand Caravan Sport with a 3.3 V6 and it has 102000 miles.
My question is why would my A/C Compressor constantly go bad. I have had the car for 3 years and have had the compressor replaced 4 times. The van has had 7 new compressors in it's lifetime. I now have to replace it one more time. This will be number 8. Every time I take it to the dealer they tell me that I have metal shavings in the lubricant. It seems to me that something is causing the shavings to appear. is there something that I can do to prevent this?
