By chance have you replaced the fuel pump in the last few thousand miles?

When have you last performed an air induction service to reduce the carbon on the thorttle plate & bore and the intake valves?

I havent replaced the fuel pump in around 4-5 years, one mechanic told me that fuel pumps give no warnings that they just automatically goes out... also, i have noticed when going down the highway and it does start to carry on, reving the engine acouple of times while in Neutral helps

The reason I asked about the pump was regarding a tsb that may have fit your symptoms regarding an incorrect strainer istalled on the pump that would act up in a short period following.

On a side note: Fuel pumps can fail unexpectedly and at once, and that may have been the case more often with the Pre 95-ish ones, but that isn't true anymore. Bleed backs and a pump slightly out of spec are a couple examples.

See if you can get the codes pulled from the computer.

Could you describe this as a shudder?

Ive cleaned the IAC several times... the computer codes said Air Charge Temp Sensor... Changed that, same thing... and the Speed Sensor, those things r hard to find for the A413 transmission... i disconnected the cord for the transmission lock up solenoid because the transmission was making it buck bad... i havent done an air induction service... one forum told me i might have a possible slight gas leak or might be the FPR... i dont have a fuel pressure tester, so ill check for leaks, when i was fixing the exhaust on the van i smelled gas, but the smell went away quickly so i didnt think nothing more about it, thought it was the thing i was laying on, cause it smelled alittle like gas to

It might be a carbon prob, cause once a plug got stuck in it, and couldnt get it out for like over a year, then i finally got it out and it had a ton of carbon on it... i dont think its the transmission because why would it buck and what not when you rev it in park and neutral also
