Oil change light reset?

How do you cancel the change oil mesage after you change the engine oil or will this cancel automaticly when you change the oil?

Each has a different way to reset. Try turning the key on, hit the accelerator 3 times, wait and it shuts off. Let the servicing dealer do it. I know how you are anxious about it and any dealer will help you out if you can't find an owners manual or heck out this guide to help you reset the light.

Turn the ignition switch to the ON/RUN position, with engine off. Depress the gas pedal slowly to WOT 3 times in 10 seconds. Turn ignition off. Restart engine to verify reset was saved. Repeat as necessary

Change Oil Light came on took van in and had the oil changed, but they did not reset light. How do I reset the oil light in my van.

each has a different procedure, try turning the key on and hitting the gas pedal 3 times then turning it off, if no good call the dealer. ok
