Remotes will not unlock the doors

My wife drove to take the kids to school this morning. When she started to leave to pick them up, the remote key would not unlock the car. She tried the spare and it would not unlock the car. Neither of the keys work lock, unlock, or panic. No lights flash nothing. I cant get the car unlocked to pop the hood and check the battery. Any ideas?

More than likely this is one of two issues. First it could be the antenna that the failed but more then likely if the keys don't work when right next to the vehicle then the module is most likely failed.

I would suggest replacing unlocking the vehicle with the key and the alarm will go off and then sit in the vehicle and try the fob again. If it still does not work then the module will need to be replaced.
