This car was rated at 19-26 on the sticker. After a break in of 3354 miles, I pumped in 1111.4 gallons of gas to travel 20361 miles, which means I averaged 18.3mpg. As an indication of my driving habits and locations, my prior car was a 1999 Dodge Caravan, rated at 19-24, and I normally got 20-22mpg, so I figure this car should be at least as good. WRONG! After 12 letters to Chrysler and the dealership owner I got nowhere other than to go to the dealer. Five trips back to three dealers netted the same "no codes, no trouble". There are no codes. After a fuel test by one service manager the car tested at 25.8mpg: but it headed down then to a low of 12.0mpg over the next 4000 miles.
There are many strange things going on that are to lengthy to ramble about, but all the charts and graphs are available for the mileage. If you are interested I can send them to you or should I just give-up?
