where my digital info like temp etc... is on headliner above rear view mirror perform service message appears i did the oil change which was needed but still on what does this mean not in owners manual

To reset oil change indicator after performing scheduled maintenance, turn ignition on, with engine off.
Fully depress accelerator pedal slowly 3 times within 10 seconds.
Turn ignition off. Start engine. If indicator message illuminates when engine is started, repeat reset procedure.
