Cannot get the van to start-it will not go into park or neutral...when it does go into park it will start and run for a day or so but then it will not go into park again? Is this a bad tranny, or the neutral sending switch ??? If it is the neutral sending switch where is it located and is it something I can fix or does it need to go to a garage?

The neutral safety switch won't cause the shifter problems. It is only a switch that prevents the vehicle from starting in gear. As far as your problem, it sounds like you have a problem with the shifter linkage. Have you checked that to make sure it is tight and properly connected?
