I have a 3.3l V6 I just replaced the Air filter with a K&N filter and the stock plugs with bosch platnium 4's during the install I disconnected the MAF Sensor and the front wiper assembly so I could get to the back plugs now even after disconnecting the negative cable I idle at 1100-1300 Rpms's which once I put the vehcil in drive I accelarte smooothly to 20mph I can hold 25 mph with my foot complelty off the gas if I turn the Ac on while in park my idel dropps slighty to 900 -850 rpm closer to normal I think, I have already checked the linkage although I may have missed something and sprayed on WD40 on the throttle body and linkage Its making braking a little harder than normal of course. Now could I have a bad MAF sensor I have tried the spray to clean it twice now is the computer still learning? I hope thats what it is I have driven for about 20 miles still no joy in this and I leave for california in about 5 days advice please

First thing is to take those plugs out and throw them away. I have seen more driveability problems with those plugs than any other. Install factory plugs or A/C Delco or Autolite, NO BOSCH PLATINUMS. High idle, try spraying carb cleaner around the intake area to see if you have a vacuum leak. It may be relearning, but it should have done it by now, vacuum leak is the first place I would start. Also the K&N filter will eventually ruin the MAF sensor due to oil conamination
