Transmission problem
2005 Dodge Caravan Two Wheel Drive Automatic 60000 miles

about 2 months ago van started "burping" at slow speeds. Seemed to have no power when going slow. Has a chugging feeling when driving, usually only at lower speed. About 3 weeks ago check engine light came on and "burping" seemed to stop for 2 days. "Burping" is now back and light has never gone off. Last two mechanics have been no help for other problems. Any idea what is wrong?
Thanks
Ok, I have since found the codes on my own they are codes P0404 and P0405. EGR something or other. Is this something that I can fix?

If the check engine light is on, then there is a codes stored in the computer that will identify the problem. What to do is take the vehicle to a nationally recognized parts store and have them scan the computer for you. Most will do it for free, so there is no money out of pocket for you.

Let me know what you find.
