When we fill the car up with gas and only to the point that the kickoff shuts the gas off, the engine stalls when you first start it up. This is an intermittent problem and does not show up on the diagnostic.

no one seems to have any ideas what the problem is.

ANY IDEAS

THe only thing that could cause this deals with the EVAP system. It sounds like fuel is making its way to the carbon canister and then to the engine. As a result, too much gas is getting to the engine.

Does the exhaust smell rich when this happens?

The exhaust does not smell rich.
The car starts as usual after the fill-up but it dies when you let off the gas.
This does not happen all the time.
Thank you

I'm going to stick with my initial diagnosis. There is nothing on the engine that would cause it to stall by fill the tank. In my mind, at an idle, there is too much fuel getting to the engine via the EVAP.
