Just recently I have discovered that the EGR valve is in need of replacement. The question that I have is that if this issue has an affect on the engine going up to speed. Around 20MPH it feels like the engine is trying to catch up and there is like a stuttering but quickly goes away. Can anyone help?

Hi:
Yes, a bad EGR will cause the engine poorly. When you replace it, make sure there is no carbin build up under it.
