The Code comes up PO 404 on this van. The definition is "Exhaust Gas Recirculation Circuit Range/Performance" Will replacing the EGR valve fix this?

Set Condition: The EGR flow or valve movement is not what is expected.
POSSIBLE CAUSES
GOOD TRIP EQUAL TO ZERO
HIGH RESISTANCE IN 5 VOLT SUPPLY
EGR SOLENOID CONTROL CKT
INTERMITTENT CONDITION
EGR SENSOR SIGNAL CIRCUIT OPEN
EGR SENSOR SIGNAL CIRCUIT SHORTED TO GROUND
SENSOR GROUND CIRCUIT OPEN
EGR ASSEMBLY (GROUND)
PCM

Check list is about 3 pages or so
if and after replacing the EGR make sure you disconnect battery to reset codes
