I recently did a quick pad replacement because my pads were eating into the rotors on the front right inside only (about 1/4 inch at top of rotor). I could not find anyone to turn the rotors and the part store did not have them in stock. I replaced the pads and now the brakes are squeaking bad when braking. Should I Replace the rotor/ have it turned or will the squeaking stop with time? Just trying to forgo any further expense and avoid further brake problems..

If it were mine I would see if it wears away. You could try gluing the pads. Or wait and see. If you get some cask replace fronts in pairs for safety. This is a must. ok

I went ahead and took it off and had it turned. It still squeeks a bit but I am sure this will stop in time. Thanks for the info..
