I just purchased a 2004 Doge caravan. After driving it for a few minutes at 70 miles an hour it shifts in and out of overdrive. We were driving on a flat surface at one continuous speed. The mechanic at a dodge maintainance shop told us it was because they recently replaced the torque converter and it needed 2000 miles to align with the transmission. Is this likely. He called it torque converter lockout.
