Engine Cooling problem
2004 Dodge Caravan Automatic

My mini van overheats to redline after about 15 minutes of driving. However, if I turn the heater on full blast, the needle goes right back to normal. What the heck is wrong with my car?

You really should see if you have enough coolant, that the thermostat and cooling fan are operating properly, the heater is acting like the cooling fan should all the time. Removing the heat. It is real bad for your engine. It may not be cooling for reasons of bad fan or coolant sensor, have the level checked. Ok
