2003 Dodge Caravan wet leak

I have recently discovered the carpet and padding soaking wet on passenger side of vehicle. I assumed the drain tube was clogged so I ran a wire up a short rubber hose on firewall side. It seemed to go the length of the hose 4-5 inches and stopped. Sometimes when you first crank the car you can hear a swishing water sound in the dash area. Well if drain appears clear then the only other thing is the Heater Core. You could also check the Hose connection make sure they are tight and not leaking.
