2003 Dodge Caravan Steering Wheel Lock

The security device on the steering wheel is locked and car will not start. What must I do to unlock it?

Usually, with patience, turning and perhaps jiggling the key while turning the wheel side to side will unlock it. If not, the center of the steering wheel will have to be opened up and the lock plate removed and pin fixed.
