2003 Dodge Caravan Serpentine belt?

My Dodge Caravan suddenly would not start. Battery was very weak. When I jump started it, there was a burning rubber smell and the power steering was suddenly gone. It was all I could do to get it off the street and into my driveway. May question is: Could this be a broken serpentine belt and is this a problem I can fix myself?

It definatley sounds like the sepantine belt If it is broken you need to find out why. In my caravan it was the air compressor pump that seized. You can get a bypass puuly instaled and you will not have to get a new pump wich can be quite expeseve
