2003 Dodge Caravan Parking break light comes on intermitant

Without the parking break being engaged, the parking break light comes on in the dash after or during application of my regular breaks. What is the cause of this problem? Is it an electrical problem or does it mean that i have a breaking system problem? Thanks, any help would be greatly appreciated.

HI there,

i would be checking that the brake fluid is not a bit low as often this light is also the low fluid indicator as well, check this.
