2003 Dodge Caravan making noise

When the vechicle is cold I get a whining sound,if I turn the steering wheel to the left or right the sound is a little louder and feel it a bit through the steering wheel.After about 15 minutes of driving it goes away.Any ideas what this might be.Thanks

Hi there,

Check the power steering fluid level, also check the drive pelt for the pump is loose check condition and replace if required & re tension.
