Transmission problem
2003 Dodge Caravan 6 cyl Automatic 87700 miles

Our vehicle looses the readings on all the guages and then the transmission will not shift. This happens intermittently. We send it to the mechanic, they doagnose it, and so far selenoids, fuses, engine computer and transmission computer have all been replaced. We have spent almost $ 2000.00 on repairs and as soon as we run it for a few days, it happens again. This is a compnay vehicle that is on the road about 7 hours per day. Can this be diagnosed, or should I cut my losses and sell it ?

Hi:
I want you to try something. When this happens, shut the engine, disconnect the battery for about 10 minutes and reconnect. Let me know if this resets the problem.
